- No noise compared to my 15K RPM Cheetah drives - Fast bootup times. My RAID 0 15K RPM Cheetah drive setup took a really long time to boot because of the RAID controller. Since I'm no longer doing this, it doesn't have to go through that waiting process of detecting the drives, etc. - Less electricity than my other drives - Less heat emitted than my other drives - This one drive compared to a single 15K Cheetah drive is hands down faster

After looking at various options for the many loose 3.5" drives I have laying around, I tried these. They are very sturdy and are lined with foam that securely clamps the drive into the case. The plastic catch is very secure so the case doesn't easily pop open. As with every ORICO product I've purchased, the fit and finish are exceptional and packaging second to none.

I got one of these because I wanted a cheap SSD for a pc I was selling. Well I ended up keeping the pc, and Ive been playing on it, and I cant tell the difference between this and much faster, higher quality drives. Im actually very pleasantly surprised. I havent done any benchmarks, but load times seem pretty much the same give or take a bit. For the price, you cant go wrong if you want a fast drive for games thats cheap. Im actually gonna buy another one.
