- Compact - Easy to set up

I have this UPS for more than 3 years. One day battery died on it. I took it apart and using heavy gauge speaker wire (gauge #2 for 200 Amps) connected to a large external sealed acid battery that I have for solar system. Now, this UPS can have more than 2 hours standby power when we had power failure last year.

Does not have the high-frequency buzzing noise I've experienced with the smaller APC units Awesome LCD display with good information Nice form factor, stands up and stays out of the way

Works as it should.

This UPS has been great. I purchased it from Newegg back in 2003 and it's been running every day since. The original batteries lasted a very long time. It doesn't overcharge and fry them like every APC I've had the misfortune of working with. Software for Linux is provided, so you can control it via command line. Batteries are changed through the front panel, and doesn't require shutting it off. This is good for an environment where uptime is important. It can be switched on without an AC supply, unlike many others I've worked with, which required shorting of the plug in some way. It will also run and charge from a modified-sine inverter.

Great UPS for rating under or at 2400 watts the max for a 20 amp circuit.

This UPS replaced an APC Smart UPS 750 RM 2U - also a rackmount unit. The SRT1000RMXLA adds a super-functional display, power-conditioning capabilities in addition to larger battery capacity/improved runtime.

Have a few of these on different systems, never a glitch. Best bang for the buck by far, if your looking for a great value.

12 outlets. 6 UPS, 6 surge suppression is a great hub for protecting your internet gateway, wifi router.

Easy setup, easy load on the server. The server interface was easy to setup and provides good information on the status of the UPS. No problems encountered

I purchased this unit to reduce the noise of my VMware box. With the stock cooler the CPU fan would constantly scream even under minimal load. After installing this unit, the computer has quieted down quite a bit. Even under high load the fan noise is a lower pitch so it is much less noticible.

relatively small for a 2200VA UPS, expandable (with optional battery pack), switchable plugs through serial or USB connected dedicated host.
