Wicked fast. I play some old games that are very cpu intensive. Using a 5800x I would still get bad lag spikes in high population areas. After upgrading to the 9800x3d everything is smooth as butter. Thats across all games as well.

nice and cheap

Cheap and Fast. Fewer 'security issues" than Intel.

Great performance Stellar fps in all games

-Low power vs the previous generations -Both great gaming and multicore performance -Plenty of IO -Doesn't kill itself like raptor lake -Very tame voltages -Super responsive even vs raptor lake which on paper these should be about the same. -iGPU have av1 encoding so frees my actual gpu for other stuff -Stable and no strange bugs or issues

It seems like availability for the 5000 series is getting better, and it's one of the best ryzen series. Where my 2700x couldn't run my corsair memory at 3200mhz (its rated speed) the 5800x easily does so and crushes the performance my 2700x gave me. I've also seen a nice boost in performance in my flight simulator (both p3d and ms flight sim 2020). For me it also never ran as hot as said, and I also have no USB disconnect issues. With the wraith prism from my 2700x I was idle at about 50C, now using a corsair aio I'm at around 32C. Though it did throttle during heavy gaming.. So I'm very happy!!

Best gaming CPU Uses less power than many Intel CPUs

-More cores for media content creation. -The x3d synching of cores, minimizes latency communication between cores of active game code, producing a higher fps without having to upgrade the GPU. Faster boot up time.

I am a fan of amd the deal was pretty good so I had to take it.

There are no issues with Monster Hunter World.

Very Fast and compliments the 4070 TI very well.

65w tdp, but tunable and overclockable. Running it with an AIO watercooler, runs 40-65 celsios typically. Came up immediately with a discrete graphic card. ( I was having trouble with other (similar, used, no graphics cpu , Perhaps it is a simpler initialization when the cpu has graphics? ) It is nice to have the "latest and greatest Zen 5 core., as of 2025 I dabble in performance coding / performance optimization, I wanted the full 512 bit avx512 support featured in Zen 5. This CPU is a price/performance sweet spot.

Great product, and amazing clarification from the seller, they even told me about common concerns and questions people often have before I received the product!

High productivity with good power consumption. Plenty of cores/threads for gaming and productivity.

Boost above the base clock. Amd commitment to a long term chip.

Tres Bien Pour Une 12è Gen

Exactly what i needed to get my PC built. Great price to performance as of Oct. 2024 Great gaming chip for cheap.

Beastie of a processor after updating the bios. Runs well and steady.

Low heat. Decent Overclock
