3 PROCESSOR BUY ON COMBO AND 3 ALL DO AMD SUCKS

Up to 9.5ghz with 3D cache. Better with memory speed than previous models. Wasnt tampered with in shipping.

Fast, easy install, stable

Runs very well. Some games had a higher than expected FPS boost.

Decent gaming performance at stock, performs notably better than my overclocked 7700x Excellent overclocking performance, gets similar gaming performance to my 7800x3D after tuning ram (running DDR5 8000 with manually tuned timings) and overclocking the cores, D2D, NGU, and Ring Ridiculous multithreading, it's an ultra 9 285k in all but name. in many cases it's faster due to the increase uncore clocks at stock. Absolutely shreds my rendering workloads. no Price, $300 is midrange tier pricing in the big 2026 unfortunately. But this CPU is very clearly very high end.

Lots of cores Top of the line processor Bragging rights

Fast base clocks, reasonable price

Everything

-Amazing CPU with a really good price/performance ratio. -Runs way cooler than it's Intel counterparts. -Excels at providing decent performance in both games and productivity applications.

works like it should

Luckily I like spending time tweaking my CPU. My benchmark scores and framerates really did not go up until I dialed in a good Core Offset, tuned the memory beyond EXPO's auto settings, turned off Core Isolation in Windows, downloaded Win 11 update KB5041587. I have not tried Win11 24H2 yet, and I am not running this with any version of Linux. Compared to my 7950x, I have way more throw with the Core offset. I can dial in a Core Offset beyond -25 with the 9950x, whereas my 7950x gets fussy when I try a CO beyond -5. The 9950x also doesn't run as hot.

Not only has my FPS and overall gaming performance improvedespecially in older titles like World of WarcraftI went against popular opinion and sold my underwhelming AMD system, upgrading to this one. I originally aimed for the 270K, but when it sold out, this model popped back in stock, and I decided to take the chance. I run multiple LLMs, game, stream, do light video editing, and experiment with AI and video generationbasically a little bit of everything. I already had a 5080 and 64GB of RAM, but wowthis machine is a beast. I was worried Id lose 1015% performance, and in some games I did lose about 5%, but what truly matters is that I can now use my PC however I wanteven while gaming. No more shutting down my LLMs just to play casually. The best part? My 1% lows jumped up massivelyby around 35% in MMOs. Thats far more important to me than raw FPS. No more micro-stutters, OBS crashes, or rubberbanding. I used to spend hours tweaking settings just to get games good enough to enjoyand I always felt I fell short. Im not claiming to be a hardware guru, just a hobbyist whos built PCs for over a decade (RIP 1080 Ti). Long story short: if youre chasing every last frame and dont care about AI, 1% lows, or multitasking, this is an incredible bargain at $200.

-Works great! Super smooth operation and easy to install as usual -packaging was great, service was awesome

- Don't have to marry into the thread ripper eco system. - Cheaper than thread ripper. - Good for AI and Gaming. - Zero scheduling issues.

I have already submitted a review for the same product earlier this year

This thing is fast, with the fixes in December its going to improve it further. Coming from a 6700k that was extremely bottleneck it is nice not having that issue now. It was well package for shipping which is appreciated. It handled V color Cudimm 8800 gear 2 with no issue

This doubles my multi thread rating. BF6 loads me in to maps much faster. If I encode more DVD Movies it will not take nearly as long. Planning to wait a couple of years before replacing the mobo, CPU, and RAM in my computer. RAM prices are out of control. Waiting for them to come back down.

This is my first build; I am coming from the laptop world and have always wanted to build my own PC. It's definitely the fastest processor I have ever used, it paired well with the Z890 Asus Hero MB and 32 gbs. of Corsair Vengeance 6400. The onboard graphics have worked well (nothing intensive) until my GPU comes later this week.

-its just fast -not hot as people claimed -cooler master MA824 can cool this beast down keeping it between 28C and 75C at all time unless going stress test
