- The best gaming CPU on the market as of this writing - Very efficient when comparing performance vs power relative to other CPU's on the market, especially Intel CPU's

Works out of the box purchased with Amd 9600x cpu bundles ,Newegg customer services great.

Fast Cool Efficient High Speeds

Decent gaming performance at stock, performs notably better than my overclocked 7700x Excellent overclocking performance, gets similar gaming performance to my 7800x3D after tuning ram (running DDR5 8000 with manually tuned timings) and overclocking the cores, D2D, NGU, and Ring Ridiculous multithreading, it's an ultra 9 285k in all but name. in many cases it's faster due to the increase uncore clocks at stock. Absolutely shreds my rendering workloads. no Price, $300 is midrange tier pricing in the big 2026 unfortunately. But this CPU is very clearly very high end.

-Architecture Improvements - Great temps -1% Low Performance

Best gaming CPU Uses less power than many Intel CPUs

Lots of cores Top of the line processor Bragging rights

I am a fan of amd the deal was pretty good so I had to take it.

5.3ghz and 32 threads. Works great and once in the replacement board i can really test it speed andcpower.

works like it should

Performance is as expected, probably the best workstation-class CPU on desktop right now. With a bit curve optimizer tuning, can do 45k score in Cinebench R23 and 15k score in Time Spy Extreme CPU benchmark with only 230W package power reported from HWInfo64. Idle power consumption sits at around 35W on desktop.

Great product, and amazing clarification from the seller, they even told me about common concerns and questions people often have before I received the product!

- Minesweep literally looks real now. - I'm heating my office without even turning on my furnace. - My emails are received before I even click "send". - I can now open over 37 tabs in Chrome, simultaneously

Runs cool. Price. Free Intel badge. NO RGB. Next version will be faster. An endless story.

- Advertised accurately (past ryzens have had a few very misleading claims) - Boosts to 5.5 all core with an EKWB 240 aio - Infinity Fabric in Auto:1:1 mode as opposed to 1:1:1 of prior generations makes overlooking more accessible - Thermal throttle alleviates fear of burning it out from a bad thermal paste job

Exactly what i needed to get my PC built. Great price to performance as of Oct. 2024 Great gaming chip for cheap.

This processor is absolutely blazing fast. Nothing short of an artificial load really seems to get close to making it sweat and it feels like it is truly ahead of most processing power requirements. Paired it with a Maximus Z790 Dark Hero, 96GB of G.Skill 6800MHz, and an RTX 4090. I have mine tuned with TVB allowing up to 6GHz and a max TDP of 300W. The whole build runs things like Stable Diffusion at incredible speeds and runs 8Kx4K VR super smooth. The key to managing these chips is to make sure you tune your BIOS to make sure it does not apply excessive voltages which could cause damage, even if not immediately apparent it can become a cumulative thing. They have no business exceeding 1.5V short of record overclocking attempts and exceeding 1.6V can be immediately damaging. I recommend trying to keep voltages to 1.45V or below for assurance of longevity.

Faster game play in intense gaming sessions than the [email protected]. Still running the 285K at stock settings.
