Works awesome for DCS

I think the Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS HOTAS is an ideal compromise between price and quality. I've long wanted to buy one of the >$500 HOTAS kits but this kind of price has always been hard to justify. For that kind of money I could buy a really good monitor, a new GPU, make several payments on my car, etc. The FCS HOTAS kit gives most of the advantages of one of those expensive HOTAS kits but at around 1/3 the price. The difference in speed and precision between a full HOTAS setup and relying on keyboard+mouse can't be overstated. If you're playing games like Elite, Star Citizen, or even Kerbal Space Program with KB+M alone, you're doing yourself a huge disservice.

Comes pre-set for Microsoft Flight simulator but works with Flight Simulator in Google Earth app too. Can set the many switches to custom depending on the aircraft. Can add other switch boxes if you are flying a complex plane (I guess). System connected easily and flawlessly after figuring out you need to download drivers from Logitech not Saitek.

Have been using it with my flight Sim 10 for years. Very happy with it. Flight combat sims do not work anymore.

Arrived earlier than expected, very nice build quality, and enhances the overall experience (for elite dangerous).

Much more realistic flight simulation with throttle and rudder pedals than convention joystick. Greater sense of actually piloting an aircraft. Easy set-up. Plug and play. In Win open Control Panel and click Device manager, right click the icon and select Properties to calibrate controls. That's it.

Ease of setup and connection to game is key to getting set up. Works well with the Logitech Flight controller and Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The hall effect sensor is super smooth. The slider is a standard linear pot. great if you going to hack for a sim pit ir diy hotas (which I did).

- Strong buttons. - Feels real

Ive had this stick for almost 3 years now with nary a complaint. Its accurate, rugged, and can keep up with the best out there. Ive used mine for hours on end playing every single DCS module, including the UH-1H, Ka-50, F-15...and it feels so natural to use. Modding this stick is easy. Ive mine on a piece of galvanized pipe mounted to the floor on top of a 1 1/4 inch flange, which helps make it feel naturally like an actual aircraft stick. I cant fly it in any other way. No way am I going back to Saitek, their stuff feels too flimsy and breaks too easily for me.

Did allot of research before buying them. I have been flight simming for 20+ years. These are the closest to real life as you can get. They are super smooth. Some dampening would be nice but there is a easy mod for that out there. I fly fixed wing and helicopters, and helicopters are now so much easier to fly thanks to the new pedals. I have had Saitek pedals that broke and had dead spots in them and the thrustmaster black plastic pedals are horrible. These are worth the money. And Newegg had one of the best prices.

- Easy to set up - Mostly everything auto-mapped in MSFS - Vastly improves my experience flying Airbus family aircraft in the simulator

Twist handle for rudder control!!, programable keys, and a heavy base that stays put. True Plug and Play, so no software to download or update. The keys are all easily programable through any game's keymapper. Six of the programable keys are on the left side of the base, which means that your left hand can hit them while not having to let go of the main handle. It looks good sitting on my desk! It's priced right!
