This is very handy for my wife and she really likes it. She never likes any electronics or gadgets but she liked this one, it has made it easier for her plugging in to she system .

- small form factor with tiny blue led status light - simple & easy to use, just plug & play - decent documentation with power max power explicitly mentioned as 900mA for all four ports - relatively inexpensive - used an externally powered hard drive, desktop microphone and game controller w/o issue - 18 month warrenty

Does everything.

Individual ports can be powered on and off without any Ill effects, so far. Plug and play with the latest version of Windows. Well built and worth the money.

Seven ports Switches to control power to each port

USB C Port speed seems good, I was only able to test with a M.2 USB C SSD enclosure I had laying around. Got read speeds up to 880 Megabytes per second (around 7000 Megabits per second)
