I have a Lenovo laptop purchased several years ago that has a poor wifi plus the built in ethernet is only 100mbps which I found was pretty standard with regular laptops unless you're willing to spend for a high end one. My internet provider gives me 600mb/s but I was only getting about 50mb/s with the built in ethernet and even less with the wifi. I purchased this adapter and right away I'm getting close to 400mb/s when plugged in directly to my router! This adapter is the solution I've been trying to find. Pros: -This was simple to set up on my Windows 10 laptop. -It was working right out of the box and I've had no issues with it. -Great price

Easy install. Nice price. I really love this Network card. It arrived on time in Manufacturers Box with the low profile bracket attached. Because of my computer case had to take out the 2 screws and install the standard profile bracket which was included. Also included was a driver CD and manual. .

I run this weeks on end sharing AntiX linux vis Torrents.

I can assign each port individually in pfsense. Plug and play.

I guess it's working as it should. I bought this to replace the on board card built into the motherboard. Lightning hit the cable which completely destroyed the modem, router and another computer. This computer was and is downloading and uploading normally but I sometimes have long waits as I see "resolving host". This card is no better than the on board one.

Came up instantly on LinuxMint 13 (Ubuntu 12.04). No special configuration or additional drivers needed.

Handles network traffic well, running on Windows 2008 Server R2 Standard, network teaming configured, excellent addition to my server. Still testing adapter but you can't go wrong with this Intel adapter.

OOtB experience is it just works with generic SFPs Great price for a 10G-capable adapter Recognized without intervention in Proxmox 9 Easy to vendor-unlock via Linux OS Low-height heatsink does not obstruct adjacent slot
