This is my second A50 headset, both are the new generation style. I bought the first one from Astro about three years ago. Last year I bought a gaming laptop for on the go gaming while traveling for work and I got tired of swapping the one headset back and forth so I bought another. The sound quality IMO is amazing. I have had Astro headsets for the past ten years. Bought an A40 in 2012 and the only reason I got the A50's was the wireless convenience. The Command Center software is very easy and the battery charges fast/lasts for at least 13-14 hours straight at full charge. The headset feels very sturdy and not flimsy like some Turtles Ive held. Ive worn them for a solid 16+ hours straight and never noticed any irritation or discomfort. The flip up mic is DOPE vs a button you have to push. Plus the fact that you can control the voice/game channel balance, volume, Dolby, and EQ all from the headset instead of having to swap windows to the app itself is a big plus to be.
