My nephew is happy he will be assembling his own computer soon.

I like getting a 1Tb M.2 by a know company for $54 (tax) It was installed as a game drive on my MSI x470 Gaming Plus with a Ryzen 7 5700x, I needed to run Dead Space with RTX 3070. drive is in top slot without heatsink, my video is side mount on PCI Express 4 riser mount and not like normal install of your video. HWin64 info has been track the drive temps, 42c was max after some Forspoken benchmarks, about a good hour of Dead Space was 41c in 1440p high settings /DLSS Balanced mode, I order a GLOTRENDS M.2 Heatsink PS5 Installation for Large Capacity for $8.99 and will be installed.`

Great value for the price. Easy install, Win 10 Pro and booted correctly first try. Solid construction.

- Very fast, getting over 14k read and close to 14k writes on b850 AMD motherboard - Price is amazing compared to the samsung 9100

Easy setup, super fast boot and run time

it is a snappy colour and it does the job. Everyone loves them!!!! get yours Now. Even if you don't own an XBOX X series, you may in the future and you will have this beauty, gathering dust and you can pop it into the XBOX and enjoy the dubious benifits.

good little drive I use as a temp folder

Speeds are as advertised Gen 4

Item just as described easy setup and fast speeds, very satisfied, as far as longevity not had it long enough to tell.

The price/performance ratio for this M.2 is good. I have found it very reliable. Not hic-cups on writes or reads. With hours of mid-level gaming level-load times still snappy.

-Easy setup (partitioning and clean) -5 Year Warranty -No RGB -No heatsink -Fast and meets expectations -Micron made

Great drive

The capacity and the price

Reaches advertised speeds out of the box. Exceptional 5 year warranty. Good drive capacity, 1TB is great for boot and storage. Fast.

full metal heatsink lid is important, overheating ssd not a good thing, the reasonably sized heatsink on this is the absolute minimum you should expect. Many other enclosures use less or have heatsinks that are covered by plastic, orico's own clear plastic models do this, none of the clear models have adequate cooling, even the one with the fake embedded heatsink. On heavy sequential writes drives heat up a lot, some enclosures get away with just throttling but it can't be good for the drive. Even this gets a bit hot for my liking on full drive writes and i've pointed a fan or just zip tied a larger m.2 heatsink in place of the lid. I think people are just using slow drives or letting their drives cook in enclosures, and or are mostly doing light writes and reads to never really heat the drive. station drivers have the updated firmware for this, current working one in my experience is rtl9201 1.32.49

Fast and works as advertised. There are several bad reviews, but I can tell you from experience nearly all the failures are most likely caused by heat issues. Fast M.2s can get excessively hot in the right situations. If you do not have a heatsink with your slot or good airflow with your motherboard then they will almost certainly run slower and possibly fail. Always use a heatsink with M.2s even if they do not come with one. You do not want to risk failure due to high temps by not having a heatsink to disperse the heat.

- Much faster boot times - Perfect size for operating system

First use was to create a windows 11 system image from an M2 C: to D: on this device. Now I have this to examine those old SSD SATA and M2 drives without opening the PC case. Works on spin SATA drives as well. Also used to clone a 512GB M2 to a 2TB M2.

As advertised
