Easy to assemble Works great Drives are running cool thanks to 2 onboard fans

Full disclosure, had to contact Orico to get a replacement, works like a charm now. After my first one borked on me Orico sent me a second one to try reading a hard drive and it worked as it says it should on the tin. The enclosure feels sturdy and the heatsink and thermal pad have a good amount of chunk to ensure good heat dissipation. I didn't do much besides format and delete a partition but it's got some solid build quality.

First use was to create a windows 11 system image from an M2 C: to D: on this device. Now I have this to examine those old SSD SATA and M2 drives without opening the PC case. Works on spin SATA drives as well. Also used to clone a 512GB M2 to a 2TB M2.

- Easy loading, no screws. - Auto HDD power down when idle feature. - Dual purpose LED.

Easy install and great performance. Cloned my HDD to SSD and was up and running in a reasonable amount of time. Extra HDD laying around (I had 4) big plus for storage space.

- It is incredibly easy to install. - It worked the first time. No hassles. - It feels well-built and well worth the price.

- Great solution for legacy CD/DVD media, as most new PC's and Laptops no longer support it. - Well constructed - Easy to assemble - Looks great - Plug and play, no issues

Easy to clone NVMe drives that would otherwise be a huge pain. No setup, built in functionality, just works. can handle a larger Target NVMe, which was my use case, upgrading an existing OS drive in a Laptop.

These are easy to use since you just push the button to open and easy mount the m.2.

Just works. Comes with clear instructions (once you read the correct side) and feels fairly durable. The lights for the % done is bright enough and clear.

There are almost as many M.2 to USB enclosures on the market as there are Linux distros. This was the first one when sorted by price low to high at the time that seemed like a good idea to buy. Included cables (plural) are actually decent, is not just not hideous but even mildly visually pleasing IMO, statured the bandwidth of a USB 3.something-this-week-Gen-whatever 5Gbs connection with a mildly abused WD_Black SN750 installed. The included screwdriver was a nice touch.

This is the best enclosure that I have come across! I can quickly insert a HDD and it will connect immediately. I can then remove the HDD and insert a SSD and it will connect immediately as well, all at "true" USB 3.0 speed. I purchased 2 of these and both have performed flawlessly for more than a year now, and that includes swapping drives into and out of the case as I see fit. It even comes with the USB 3.0 cable that is just the right length for laptop work. I am purchasing another one, even though the price has gone up 50% simply because they are soooo good to work with as an enclosure.

For the price what more can you ask for? USB 3.0, works, works well, easy to transition an internal to an external for backup or travel.

Beautiful Case, Easy to setup and use, I like that I can still read the information printed on the HDD without removing it from the enclosure. Exactly what I was looking for. Good for use with a Raspberry Pi as well.

Nice-sized enclosure for home or small-business networks!
