



My LSI SAS92804i4e RAID10 config was getting about 100MB/s in write-through mode, the mode recommended if you don't have a BBU installed on the card (even if you use a UPS). This is about the speed of a Synology. With the BBU installed and writeback mode, I get well over 600MB/s. No brainer.

These are often hard to find and even rare to fit this well in my Dell Rack and Trip lite racks









This is normally something you find on a server, but it does work for a PC. The speeds you get from it are the best. nothing even compares. There are somethings you have to get, and I wrote that in the cons, but it is more then worth it for the speed. You actually find out with all your other equipment, what does, and doesnt hold up to there promised speed, USBs, cords, enclosures... all of them get tested with this... lol... ENJOY
