- Easy to setup - Great build quality

- PCI-E 5.0 support on the x16 slot for current gen GPU's that use 5.0 - 3 m.2 slots for easy expansion - Lots of IO for fans, rgb, USB, ect, more than 99% of people will ever use - Moveable antena for the wifi/bluetooth is nice (my previous board had just 2 that stuck out and couldn't be moved, so it sometime struggled to pick up my bluetooth keyboard) - I got it for a pretty good deal for a B850 board that won't blow up CPUs - 10$ steam code included with purchase is a nice bonus - I really liked the mounting mechanism for the 4x4 m.2 slot, it's easy to use and removes the need to mess around with tiny screws - WiFi 7 & 5 gig lan at this price point is really nice

Great motherboard. Works as described.

Quality contruction. Ease of installation. Tool less drive hold downs, main drive heatsink also toolless. Great looks. Bios typical Asus. mostly easy to navigate. Easily able to undervold the AMD 98003D Good bundle discounts throuigh NewEgg.

It's cheap, it has 2 M.2 slots, and 4 PCIe slots.

- Great heatsinks, including one for M.2 slot - 2x 12v RGB and 2x 5v aRGB headers - 6+2 phase VRMs - More USB rear headers than its ATX cousin

This board fits perfectly into a 2005 LIAN-LI midtower ATX case that I like. I still like cases that take drives and I use 2 CD-DVD drives with one being a Blue ray burner. Prior to purchasing this ASUS Prime, I bought another different model Prime board from another dealer and it was determined at a computer shop to be DOA. That was a full size ATX board which I preferred, but had to change my preference and glad I did. This one is a "micro"- ATX case because it's shorter than a standard ATX size. In spite of the shortness, there was no problem fitting this MB into a full ATX case. All 8 mounting holes aligned perfectly with some of the mounting hole standoff knockouts. With LIAN-LI, square knock outs are on the board chassis because the standoffs are clips that snap into those square knockouts. The MB mounting screws go into those standoff clips. These clips are very secure if they are carefully handled. Now onto the board. I didn't have to update. A former neighbor's nephew who has a PC building business drove some 35 miles south to help me out with a Ryzen Wraith cooler installation (see my review of an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with graphics). No update was needed as the bios/UEFI on this particular board was dated 7/31/2021 and was also the proper number which was higher than the minimum one required for the processor purchased. It's nice to now have a 64bit MB and processor after having 32 bit which was getting long in the tooth after so many years. My privious builds in that 2005 LIAN-LI was all 32bit. It's so nice that ASUS maintained legacy on the header pins with provisions for 2 USB 2 headers (for 4 front panel connectors). That ole beasty case has 4 on the bottom front, and that's great! I continue to have access to those. The shorter "micro" ATX size MB makes it way easier to access the header pins when attaching connectors like the drive light power and reset, even the case speaker which works. Less frustration, better visibility. Even though it's shorter length makes for fewer card connectors, having a pair of PCI-e's is all I really need. Looking to getting a Hauppauge HD quad video TV tuner. This MB pretty much takes anything you give to it as long as it's listed with the type of processor and memory you use. Can't find the memory you're interested in listed at ASUS? Go to the memory manufacturer's site and use their configurator and check there. That happened with my build, and G-skill had it! Use the descriptor number shown on a label on the card inside the G-skill packaging. Other brands may differ. If listed it's good to go. What ASUS may not get around to testing, the memory manufacturers may have done that. There's lots out there. And yes one more thing. The grounding plate connector cutouts align with the connector cluster on the rear of the MB with NO affect on board mounting hole alignment despite the case's age. Goes to show that when there's standards like ATX, you can use an older case and you can have the computer you love with new guts. How good is that?! Don't forget to update with a new power supply! ATX standard again, no problem. The cluster has all the standard video connections including VGA..hummmm.. It's sure versatile.

Great looking white motherboard Easy to use BIOS/Q Flash Multiple M.2 slots with EZ latch

Everything about it is grea

Obviously simple to install it make my system run nice and fast. No real issues until I try to setup XMP. But other than that It runs great and error free and the LED's are really cool. The WiFi-7 is very fast and trouble free. The ICE White color of the board is a really nice touch. The list of pro's are great and I'm starting to think I'm way behind the curve as to properly set it up. I'm used to an actual Intel C-Mos program and I find the Aorus C-Mos is quite complicated. But I really do like the board.

Good motherboard

I recently wanted to replace my B650E and decided to go x870E, It is an access motherboard the Bios is simple and has straight forward information on what each segment does currently running with a 7800x3d and 5600mhz of Ram impressed with the stability.

- My first time building a PC using this motherboard but it went really well. Everything is labelled nicely and even * for the RAM so you know which slots need to be utilized. - CPU easy to install, also nicely labelled - easy to know where to plug in power supply cables for the LED/RGB lights, especially if this is your first time just take a moment and ready around the motherboard.

M.2 slot lga 1700 everything is great even has a c port slot which is nice idk what I would use it for

Decent rear io, WiFi & Bluetooth built in, 4 film slots, 2x gen 4.0 NVME slots, decent power delivery system for higher end power hunger chips & support for all the latest gen Ryzen cpus out.

The motherboard has many sata and m2 ports for conections, a lot of heat sink to help with thermals. My processor ( Ryzen 9) worked out of the box.

Easy peasy setup, was surprised how great its is, shipped very quickly (in less than a week).

looks good i love the nvm mechanism / latch
