If you're serious about ESD (and you should be!) then you need to get one of these. I am (mainly) employed in the two-way radio business; but do the occasional computer related job. Both of these markets nowadays use equipment that can't stand the slightest electro-static charge. I've seen quite a few radios and computers destroyed by "improper handling". Get one of these and you will reduce that risk by at least 50 percent. I've had half a dozen of these (not exact same brand/model) and a few weeks ago my second one "changed owner", whilst on the road, without my permission. Had to get another one, naturally; and this one was the perfect fit. I used to pay close to a hundred bucks for one of these, many years ago. So get one now, even if you use it only once!
