Does exactly what it's supposed to do. My current motherboard only has SATA2 plugs, I've had my SSD for a while and wanted the speed boost between the SSD and the HDD that also had SATA3. Got the boost I wanted and probably extended the life of my mobo another year. Also REALLY like the listed devices on boot that shows the speed of each connected device.
