But you need to install DVDFab.Player.5.0.2.3 and in the settings select 4K UHD video playback of the same movie without the menu. The movie miraculously reproduces DVDFab 5 on a regular monitor, incorporating color, brightness and sharpness control. CyberLink PowerDVD 17.18 shows error in computers that do not meet the requirements and does not have a 4K UHD monitor. In the end, I can make copies of my own movies. LG, a trusted name in value priced consumer electronics. This is my second WH16NS40, the first was bought in 2015. Burned probably close to 750 or more BD and DVD disks, over the past 5 years and the laser just wore out and stopped burning and reading disk media. For the price this reader/burner does what it's supposed to do. Of course one should use "Cyberlink PowerDVD" or some FREE disk reading software if using the drive to view movies. Same for burning, lots of FREE software available that will recognize the drive and burn disk media just fine.

Easy install in new case/system. Reading is super fast on CDs, DVDs, and Blu Ray media.
