Works well for most DVD ripping but not all blu-ray. May be a blu-ray issue. Otherwise I am happy with it. It is a little noisy, which is to be expected for usb powered drives. Price was a major factor in my purchase decision.

When it arrived it so well packed that it took me 5 minutes to be able to open it. I was surprise of the quality and the nice look of that dvd writer. The usb type c is a nice feature but it also work on usb 3.0 for poeple that does not have a type c. The quality of the material is high end and nice to look at. I am working with Windows 11 and it was recognize in no time.
