Cheap enough, no issues playing cd's or loading windows disks, I don't use my drive often but I have been putting this same drive in my builds since 2012 and no issues, ever. I have put these in 3 different rigs and this is probably the only thing that wasn't upgraded since there was no need. Putting one in my latest Ryzen build to load windows and play cd's.

VERY QUICK SHIPPING from seller. Seriously. Arrived before NewEgg could track it properly! Generic CD/DVD burner, which is all I wanted for some ancient software I have and for ripping dvd's to my NAS. Hitachi... which, ok, maybe a 'name brand' doesn't mean anything now but still - 'Hitachi'. (Screw LG and their refrigerator box warranty hi-jinks! People DO keep track of being " - rotating-wood-fastener'-ed in one arena and avoid the brand in another.)

cant find any other combo drive this cheap! does the job its an oem product so dont expect it to come dolled up in a pretty box just bubble wrap

Great drive burns a cd in one minute an thirty seconds~! no coasters.,.,it likes all my media. This is the best drive I own.,.,.going to buy another one.
