This product is awesome. Easy to use and portable. Having lots of fun using affordable priced player/recorder from Newegg!

Makmkv said that the one I received was "LibreDrive enabled." It does have the actual "Ultra HD Blu-ray" logo on it. It hasn't had any problems with 4k or Blu-ray disks (I haven't tested DVDs). It gets 5.5x on average for Blu-rays.

Wonderful, for those of us that cannot comprehend why the heck you still wouldn't want/need this drive in your tower, no matter how dang fancy it may be.... Plug an Play, doesn't get any easier than that....

A solid bluray drive, low cost, gets the job done.

Fast 4K UHD Blu-ray compatible with proper software Durable

standard setup apply no additional software to mess with works exactly as seller described.

I got this on sale for about $12 planning to only use it to install Windows and Microsoft Office. That's basically all I've done with it, but despite that it adds personality to my computer. Specifically because it makes a sound like a car engine revving up every time the computer turns on, making it sound like the computer is complaining about having to do work.

it plays blue ray and dvd. well. comes with software

Cheaper than the Apple drive.

- Works perfectly - Plug and play - Not too loud - Slim size - No power brick/connection required - Bootable I used this to install Win7 and Win10 to several machines, in addition to booting to memtest86 and a diagnostic utility. Tested it with a DVD movie and burned several disk images.

It read the Blu-Rays I tried.

VERY QUICK SHIPPING from seller. Seriously. Arrived before NewEgg could track it properly! Generic CD/DVD burner, which is all I wanted for some ancient software I have and for ripping dvd's to my NAS. Hitachi... which, ok, maybe a 'name brand' doesn't mean anything now but still - 'Hitachi'. (Screw LG and their refrigerator box warranty hi-jinks! People DO keep track of being " - rotating-wood-fastener'-ed in one arena and avoid the brand in another.)

plug and play works great defanatluy a upgrade with the new dvd'less computers. growing up with dvd's and cd's having to download all your favorites was getting annoying now a big hard drive, and a huge collection . I defiantly recommend Intendvision dvd player

- Plug and play - USB C - Software is optional on CD. Will work without it.
