In all the hundreds of blu-rays that I've burned from Verbatim, I never once had a failure. Burning data formats with Cyberlink Power-2-Go 8 on a Pioneer drive, with all safety and integrity options checked usually takes under 20 minutes, with a full verification. I know that overall burning time depends not only on the media you're using, but also your hardware and software. Verbatim's quality continues to impress me; and while I know that there are cheaper alternatives out there, I'd rather go with the best.

Burned perfectly fine at 6x speed. During verification it started at 3.6x and got as fast as 8x, then started to spin down in speed as it was on the second layer, and finished reading at 3.5. I left about 30 megs free on the disc, so burned all the way to the edge. Appears to have no problems at all. But will update in several months to see if this disc suffers the same dye failure as other Ritek Discs.

This is my second one. I tried the LGs but they either don't work or don't last long. The pioneer I just plug it in and run decent software and the results are great.

No driver needed. Plug-in and use. Only one USB cord needed. The included USB cord was 23 inches. Long enough for me.
