These are one of the top quality DVD+R's that you can buy. The media ID on my spindle is MCC-004-00 which according to digitalfaq.com is 1st class media. This media ranks up with Taiyo Yuden media. 95-100% reliability. Be careful which media you buy. Verbatim has done very well for itself. Hope they keep up the good work and don't get cheap on us.

25GB BD-R media is the most cost-effective storage available thanks in part to these discs. Cost per gigabyte easily beats every 3TB hard drive on the market right now (even the cheap slow models). After burning through over 130 of them, I have yet to run into any quality issues. Despite being rated for 6X, they burn at 8X consistently in my LG BD-R burner and never fail post-burning verification. These are preferable over the "white inkjet printable" discs which are horrible to write on with a permanent marker.
