My drives have been Rock Solid in a Drobo-pro NAS. I bought 4 of these initially, all 4 arrived working as expected; they formatted and were running raid 5 later that day. I've moved over 20TB onto and off of this array without any hiccups. They run cool, quiet and seem to handle nearly constant reads just fine. I've heard some complaints about issues; this could be to out-dated NAS firmware. I just ordered 2 more to add to my 8-bay Drobo and when I can afford it I'll get another 2.

ratio qualité/prix, très bon

Installed in DS423+ NAS and they work fine so far. Great price.

Easy setup and easy copying

Before even removing these drives from the anti-static bag I checked the SN on the warranty lookup page. These all checked out as retail drives will full warranty (and data recovery) coverage. Installed several into my NAS and they are all up and running fine and several degrees cooler than the older HGST drives they are replacing.

Dependability!

Worked right out of the box. Great price. Lots of storage space. Normal form factor (not bigger than any other HDD in my server)

Great service by Newegg, very professional. 10 Stars

24TB hdd fits my backup need. Was able to backup my files after initializing the drive. Well packaged when it arrived.

Very quiet for a 7200rpm HDD. I have 4 of these in a rack operating RAID10 and I can barely hear it when spooled up.

Installed in a As1104T NAS. Installation was simple and the drive has performed well. Its quiet in Operations and, so far, has had no problems in use across the network. Newegg has been a recent "go to" for my network storage needs.

Good to have this 4TB (actually only more than 3TB but that is good for me to store my 1TB internal hard drive files.

More storage space

Big Best bang for buck value Quiet. I've read reviews whining about noisy hard drives in NAS boxes. My NAS is currently on my desk. I can hear the drive working but they are not loud.

Very fast. I'm happy with it.

Fast Rebuild. Reliable. 5 Year Warranty. Peace of Mind.

Boot times

-Transfer rates are good - average a little over 200MB/s, drive to drive on the same LSI HBA on Unraid if it matters. -Temperature is good - average 30C in a 20C room during continuous transfer of files, about the same as a 6TB (WD6003FFBX), and about 5C lower than a 10TB (WD102KFBX). Idle temp is ~26C. This drive and comparables are in the same server/array. - Noise is relatively low, about the same as a 6TB and noticeably more quiet than the 10TB. - Cost per TB is good when on sale, very close to the largest 18-22TB rate.
