Just got this bad boy in the mail today, threw it in my laptop and i have noticed a considerable difference between this SSHD and my old WD hard drive. Boot times are quick, apps that you use regularly seem to be faster the more you use them, and just overall looks like a good quality product. Iv never had a problem with Seagate in any of my other computers, they seem to make reliable drives. Plus there is a 5 year warranty. Worth a shot!

High RPM drive Write speeds are very fast for a mechanical drive. Was very clean Packaging was pretty good.

This HDD is twice the capacity of the original in a friend's laptop which was bumping into no more room. It cloned easily, and worked fine as soon as it was installed.

Low price, 5.9 on the WEI for a lower speed drive. I like the 16MB cache, that's more than your standard drive in this size, usually they come with 8MB. 250GB is a decent sized replacement for a laptop that people don't download things onto, runs windows 7 beautifully. Booted up and installed no issues. Still running now.

Noticeably faster and more quiet than stock 5400rpm drive. Price is right. I now have lots of extra space for work and play.

Small, low heat, self powered

Just installed one of these in a new asus n56vj laptop. This is the first time I have purchased a product from Newegg that had not been previously reviewed. So far so good. Drive is quiet, very fast, no noticeable noise. I will update later after it has been used for awhile.

I had a drive fail in a server and I needed a replacement. I found this 146GB drive at an incredible price. Works great.

Very easy drive to work with, runs great and fast and makes a good upgrade. Bought this for my father in law to upgrade his old Toshiba Satellite A105, plugged this into a USB drive connector, dd'd the main partition over, used gparted to expand the partition to most of the space, dd'd over the rest, slapped the drive in, done. Worked like a charm, SMART data says no issues.

fast drive at 7200RPM
