Good capacity/cost ratio

- 2 TB storage in the 7mm format - Price/GB vs. SSD

If you are familiar with what an average notebook 5400 rpm speed is like, then be ready for a surprise. The Seagate solid state hybrid hard drive is miles ahead in term of speed. All my applications load I would say about 40%-60% faster. Wait time is non-existent with this hard-drive (literally). Boot time is about 25 seconds compared to 2 minutes by an average hard drive. Internet explorer load in 10 seconds compared to 1 minute and 30 seconds. My notebook load the wireless connectivity in 15 seconds compared to 2 minutes. You probably won't believe my stats. No problem, just when you buy it you would be the many witness to its speedy performance.

*500GB *Very thin profile *7200RPM *Good build quality

Put drive into my Dell D4620 installed windows 10 pro 64 bit on it in about 30 minutes drive seemed to function quite fast for a 5400RPM spin drive, after got all the updates done partitioned it with windows disc manager and had no issues there then I rebooted and setup a dual boot with Peppermint 7 Linux took about 10 minutes to fully install again saw no issues with the job. Then it was time to delete everything and set it up as an external drive in a Rosewill USB2 case transfer speeds seem better that expected transferred 11GB of MP3 files to it in about17 minutes then JPEG files 17.6GB 8776 files took about 13 minutes. The drive never showed signs that it had less than quality build took everything in stride then deleted all partitions and put into the Dell again and put win 10 Pro on it again did not watch time as closely but seemed about 30 minutes again. I took out again and put it into storage for a backup drive in case my SSD dies and I need something quick. Good price factor for 1TB drive in 2½ format. Looks like some of the solder joints use gold instead of cheaper lead but not all the solder points solder points look clean and no slop in them like cheaper drives sometimes have

- Well made - Good performance

This is a nice 1TB enterprise Seagate drive in a 2.5" form factor. I'm running this drive in a workstation. It came with a 5 year warranty. (Please note, this most likely will not fit in a laptop, if that is what you are seeking to do. It is much taller than a typical laptop drive.) So far, I'm very happy with it.,

i installed this into my ps3 and recognized the drive. so far, so good.

works in my new PS4, Price was reasonable for the storage

Semi-fast, reliable, and completely silent.

I just can't say enough good about these drives. I really, really like them. The four I purchased back in 2011 are still going strong. I thought I was having problems with one of them and purchased another to replace it, but it turned out the problem was on the controller side and so all five drives are in great shape. I tested the drive in question extensively and could not break it. They run cool, perform fast and are very dependable. I am extremely happy with them after almost two years of heavy workstation usage.

No problem(s) so far. Good honest fair price also.

Exactly as described. Huge improve over factory drive. Fast shipping from Newegg.

Works fine

Quiet and thin, will easily install in any laptop, ultrabook, etc. Stays almost completely silent and ran cool in the 3 laptops I tested it in. Transfer rates are typical of most standard HDD's. A solid performer.

easy install in old ACER aspire loaded os with no problems so far so good
