I love this thing for backups of my laptop. Coming up on 6 months and there hasn't been any hick-ups. Doesn't even get warm. Fast for a rotational drive. Seems very well built to me. A single USB cable supplies all the power. Know I'll get a couple more.

For the price, this is a great little 2.5" HDD. With a 7mm height it is small, lightweight, and great for thin devices that require a lower profile 2.5 HDD. It has a SATA3 6.0Gb/s interface with a 128MB cache, which is larger than other laptop size hard drives, sans an SSHD (SSD cached drive). It is a 5400RPM drive, but operates extremely quiet with zero noticeable vibration noise. I used this drive in a Micro ATX case, which has limited room for drives and fits perfectly next to the existing SSD. It takes little space and works perfect as a small data drive. Per Crystal DiskMark (see below), it delivers just under 140MB/s on sequential reads/writes, which is on par with most 3.5" drives.

Reliability - I've used 3 of these since 2015 without any problems. Height - 9.5 mm is the correct height to fit in my Intel NUCs and is "standard" 2.5 inch drive height Capacity - 2 TB is the largest I've found in a 9.5 mm drive

Newegg delivered my order in record time! The drive was easy to install (in an HP ZBook G3 15") and worked without a hitch. This drive has twice the capacity of the max I could have ordered from HP. The drive's 7mm height fits the laptop perfectly.

This is a nice 1TB enterprise Seagate drive in a 2.5" form factor. I'm running this drive in a workstation. It came with a 5 year warranty. (Please note, this most likely will not fit in a laptop, if that is what you are seeking to do. It is much taller than a typical laptop drive.) So far, I'm very happy with it.,

If you are expecting real SSD speeds you will be disappointed. However, this thing has definitely breathed new life into my 2011 MBP. It went from being delayed and sometimes laggy to super fast and zippy, especially when waking or booting.

Enterprise-class drive. Very fast RPM. Large companies depend on this drive to keep their information safe and quickly accessable.
